June 13, 2015  Troop 18 Cub Scout Olympics  10 am to Noon all Cubs compete in outdoor sporting activities.  Lunch provided at Noon.  1pm to 2 pm Webelos participate in Scout actiivties.

Our Ideals

Troop 18 is dedicated to living out the ideals set out in the Scout Oath & Scout Law. 

We want to instill a sense of belonging to a organization that is larger than just ourselves.

Pathways To Eagle

Pathways to Eagles 2014 is right around the corner. Click on the button below to find your P2E merit Badge Workbook. Scouts attending Pathways must use the P2E workbooks and complete all the reguirements highlighted in red before starting each Merit Badge session.

​​​Merit Badges

For a Boy Scout to earn his Eagle rank the Scout must complete a minimum of 22 Merit badges. 13 Merit badges from the  Eagle required list, and 9 regular Merit badges.   With 100 + Merit badges to choose from a Scout can find a subject of interest and go for it.

Many Boy Scouts have found their lifelong careers while completing Merit badges.

PATHWAYS TO EAGLE

AUGUST 3 2013

JOLIET TREE Recycling

Scouts from Troop 18 participated in Joliet's Christmas tree recycling event held on January, 5 2013 located along Bluff street south of Jefferson.​ Joliet residents could drop off their Xmas trees, all trees collected were slated to be run through a wood chipper an turned into mulch.

The Scouts were on site from 9-1,unloaded Christmas  trees from cars also the Scouts cleaned up that section of Bluff street stacking up 18 car tires, propane tank, an oxygen tank, several tv's and at least 10 bags of assorted garbage.
